The number one thing you need to do is build Rapport with your prospect, however before you can build rapport with your target market you need to understand who your target market are are where to find them! For example if you are in the Network Marketing Industry then your target market are actually OTHER NETWORK MARKETERS. If you are in the Internet Marketing or Affiliate marketing industry then you want to be talking to other affiliate marketers and the like. What you want to do is find the leaders of your industry and then target the eir followers. In the USA alone for example There are hundreds even thousand of Network Marketing companies. So when finding your target market... so lets focus on network marketing for this example. Think about the top network marketing industry leaders... Then go over Facebook and type their name in the search box and you will find that almost all top leaders have Facebook pages with thousands of fans and there are also thousands of top leaders , so that the supply of leads and prospects is literally endless for you (in ANY niche - just target leaders in that niche). Next there are a couple of ways to do this.. you can start to engage on some of the posts, answering peoples questions if there is a lot of activity in the comments sections (this already starts to build rapport if you can help people and give value or even encouragement in the comments). Or you can simply start to connect via messenger with people who have liked the posts etc. So commenting on the posts I am sure you know how to do ... but did you know if you click on the number of likes (in the example below hovering over the likes icon will bring up a list of those who liked the post... clicking on that number will open a box which allows you to add those people so you can then message them (and I am going to show you how to do that in a very specific way - do not spam them with offers or links - remember you are going to build rapport and provide value!). So you can start to either add some of these people each day and build rapport. Don't add too many at a time or you may get flagged by facebook... also the purpose is is to do it slowly so you can build rapport.... or better still when you view the comments facebook allows you to click on the persons name who commented and see their profile... then from their profile page you may see an option to message them , then here is an example of a message I would send before adding them as a friend... "Hi [First Name] I saw you on Ray Higdons page. I would like to connect with like-minded and positive entrepreneurs like yourself, Do you mind if I add you on Facebook? warm regards Dan" Also when you visit their profile take the time to read a few of their posts and click like on one or two. This will allow you to build a conversation with those who reply or accept and say you may add them as a friend. Many wont reply, some messages wont get seen as you are not in their friends list yet but many will... and this is literally and endless supply of free targeted leads as you can do this from any of the hundreds of leaders pages. When building rapport ask questions, people love to talk about themselves so by simply asking questions and genuinely listening to them, make them feel special and you are building rapport and they will start to know like and trust you.
